Matching the 40 grams of carbohydrates that athletes can consume using the Gel 160 and Drink Mix 160, the Solid C 160 brings the bar in line with other Maurten 160 fueling options so whichever fuel mode you choose, measuring your energy is simple.

Before: Solid C 160 can be used before training to load carbohydrates and keep fibre low as a great pre-race breakfast or as a snack in the days leading up to a big goal.

During: This new bar is an ideal fuel to consume during low-to-medium intensity endurance sessions over 2 hours. It helps to add variety to your fueling without compromising the absorption rate of the carbohydrates.

This fast, light, low-fibre and carbohydrate-rich serving is your new go-to fuel. As well as this, the Solid C 160 has been made narrower and longer, making the shape more performance-orientated and able to fit better in the hand or pocket. With a solid wrapper encapsulating 40 grams of carbohydrates in two easy 20-gram servings, the Maurten Solid C 160 allows you to eat a whole 40-gram serving or save half for later depending on your needs so you can break down your training, race and fueling plan. Less compacted, both the texture profile and ease of consumption have been improved for use during exercise. This makes it easier to chew and therefore easier for you to fuel.

Timing of fueling is everything, even more so during longer sessions. Maurten’s Solid enables athletes to mimic their normal food pattern mid-race or when training.
