This will offer complete protection from any bumps or knocks that you might pick up when out on the trails. Featuring a PFC-free waterproof membrane, the Coastrock Low ES is designed to keep your feet dry on your adventures for ultimate comfort. Waterproof, breathable and sustainable, Hanwag have designed its proprietary PU membrane based on a complex, hydrophilic system that achieves waterproofing and breathability without the use of fluorocarbons. This robust EcoShell PU membrane has been applied in a sturdy 3-layer construction for reliable waterproofing. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that allows you to secure your foot to reduce in-shoe slippage for a stable and confident hike.

I-PU Midsole

The Hanwag Coastrock Low ES Walking Shoes have an I-PU midsole compound which is a cushioned compound that provides your feet with a great level of comfort. The midsole combines a reinforced PU foam wedge alongside a high-quality footbed and additional heel-to-midfoot reinforcement, offering particularly good cushioning and smooth roll-off performance. The cushioning will work to absorb impact, reducing the risks of injury and keeping your feet prepared for every stage of your adventure.
