The Chamonix Mitt from Trekmates has been constructed using GORE-TEX fabric to keep your hands dry and protected as you take on the outdoors. The GORE-TEX material works tirelessly to prevent the water from getting inside the mitt, reducing the risk of discomfort or damage. Working alongside the GORE-TEX material is Gore Active technology, which delivers weather protection, balanced heat transfer, and comfort. Your hands stay warmer when it’s cold and drier when perspiring. This is made possible through the system of the inner lining, membrane and outer material optimised for enhanced breathability, increasing comfort in a wider range of temperatures and activity levels.

Providing warmth the mitt features 80gm of Polyester hollow fibre insulation and a micro fleece lining to trap heat and provide a soft next-to-skin feel. An elasticated wrist enables the mitt to sit comfortably against the skin, preventing friction and irritation from chafing. The fit of the mitt can also be adjusted to meet individual requirements whilst a clip fastening system allows you to attach the mitts when not in use. A tough PU leather palm adds grip and abrasion resistance. Lastly, the mitt offers touchscreen compatibility, meaning you can use your smartphone or device without taking the mitt off.
